Kii Yazhi is now in high school. He has learned that the military is looking for Navajos that can speak fluently in english and Navajo And wants to join. But he is under age. But Navajos did not have birth certificates. So all he needed was for his parents to tell them he was old enough. So Kii Yazhi went back to his tribe to talk to his parents about joining. They told Kii Yazhi that if there is still a war after one winter has passed, he has there blessing to join. So Kii Yazhi has gone back to school. He thinks he will not be able to join because the war will be over before he has the chance.
